Pulmonary Valvular Dysfunction in Children With Ventriculovenous Shunts for Hydrocephalus: A Previously Reported Complication

"pulmonary insufficiency was described as a previously unreported complication. It was, in fact. reported by us in Chest (59:344, 1971). Of further hemodynamic interest in our case was the finding of tricuspid stenosis resulting from the catheter." - Wally
"I am as confused as you are"- Frank Andrew Scott

I think this will be on my tombstone. Not the picture... the quote.

Epistemophobia

Epistemophobia is the fear of knowledge. Don't be scared by what I am about to share with you.

-The longest recorded flight of a domestic chicken is 13 seconds.
-Twenty percent of all car accidents in Sweden involve a moose.
-More people are killed by donkeys every year than die in plane crashes.

Please use your new knowledge with care and for the betterment of mankind, not for selfish reasons. O.K.?

Successful relationships

Some of my longest and most rewarding relationships have been with coffee makers. Aside from that one in Arizona that one time, all great!

outtakes

This is the gag reel and outtakes from my film. Please refer to my posting where you can view my film "Do-it-center Desparado", its the post called "My Own Film". Just click on the picture and the reel will play. It's quite short. I did not give credit earlier to the Director of Photography- Patrick Cady, my bad. If it doesn't play right away, be patient and keep trying.

Rastapublican

This is a picture of my friend Harve. Harve is most likely the only rightwing Republican with Dreadlocks. Harve is a man of many talents. If socializing was an Olympic sport he would at least be an alternate on the team. His greatest achievement has to be keeping his eyeball in his head. It's only come out of his head once in the last 16,423 days!!! Nice job Harve!

Squid check!

This is a picture of my friend Kay. Kay is a very unique individual. Here are somethings Kay can do. 1. Paint a picture. 2. Milk a cow 3. Have 742 ideas in a day. 4. Make a mean portable blood puddle. - Here are some of the things Kay cannot do. 1. Enjoy a mushroom. 2. Leave a surface bumpy. 3. Get that squid smell out of her van. Kay is the exact opposite of those guards in England with the big hats who don't laugh. Keep up the great work Kay and don't leave squid in your van for more than a few hours. O.K.!

Resume

This is a copy of my updated resume. It has no words but it expresses a few things about me. 1. I am good with children. 2. I enjoy working with my hands. 3. I really need a job.

The Dance of the Burrito Babies

This is a picture of Master Sobaski. He is one of my heroes as well as a friend. Master Sobaski has lived a full and creative life. Some of his highlight achievements are 1. Fully exploring the possibilities of "googly eyes". 2. Writing an accordian song to accompany " The Dance of the Burrito Babies". 3. Dressing up a dying man like a pirate and taking pictures of him. 4. Participating in a demolition derby. 5. Punching a Priest. 6. Being one of the world's leading authorities on "walking it off". Good on 'ya Master Sobaski!

Champion of the Free World

This picture is part of a game that I am playing with a friend. I'm not sure what the rules are to the game. I'm not really sure what goal is to the game. There seems to be no points system or time constraints. The game has no name, it's never been played before and It may go on until forever. The only thing I do know is that I am winning(for now). Technically I am the champion of the free world!!! (for now) Challengers? Bring it!!!!!
Does anyone know what type of flowers these are? Does this shiny sphere I found make my hands look fat?

Baby Check

Baby Check! This was another successful check. I cannot stress enough the value of an assistant when performing a Baby Check. I would like to thank the team responsible for keeping our babies performing at the highest level possible. They are doing a bang-up job. Keep up the good work! We will be having a safety meeting after the Baby Checks on Friday morning, please mark your calendars.

Golf

Today I played golf at a very nice course. I only play golf a few times a year. This is a picture of a ball that I lost on the 7th hole. If you see it, don't play it. Just leave it alone. It doesn't fly straight. I kinda spins off to the right. In fact the whole box of them was bad.

Opening doors

I really like this picture. If you open the back door for Eli and the dog can then go out at the same time is it considered multitasking?

My own film

I just wrapped principle photography on my debut film. I wrote it, produced it, and directed it, and starred in it. It was shot on film and transfered to digital. It's running time is 1/24 of a second. Here it is......It's working title is " Do-it-Center Desperado" It's about a guy standing outside of a hardware store in Burbank.

It's hard to make a shadow puppet and photograph it at the same time. This one is a parrot. What? Don't laugh.

Gravity

There is a good reason we are offered two options when dealing with photographs and their orientation 1. Portrait and 2. Landscape. Note to self: Our printer does not print at 45 degrees.

Here is another one of Carters friends. We encourage Carter to have friends of color. But mostly red, blue and yellow friends. He has some blue friends, but frankly we feel they are a bit lazy.

This is my brother and his son Charlie. My brother likes horses. Charlies' head isn't really that big. Charlie likes bulldozers. Do you like bulldozers? Horses and bulldozers are somewhat related, but you can't generally bet on bulldozers, can you? No.

I like bugs for the most part. This bug has a very sweet face and kind eyes. His Momma raised him well. He is always polite and always on time.

Enough said

Here is another photo worth about 3 words. Not to take away from the subjects in any way. There is no significance or real story being told, just a moment in time. I do wish I knew what Robert was thinking. Here are my guesses. 1. Something about a vague political/historical figure. 2. The lyrics to an instrumental. 3. I wonder if they are going to offer salad at the Seder?

Salad?

I enjoyed this soup very much. I also enjoy a good salad every now and again. On this evening were were not offered salad. I am not mad, just saying. Not to deny the soup any of it's glory, thats not what I intend. It was a really good bowl of soup!

What?

Sometimes a pictures is worth a thousand words. Sometimes only three or four. Sometimes you just skip that weird picture and move on to the next one.

Mr. Popular

Popularity is a funny thing. Popularity is much easier to achieve when you can't use words and make other people mad. Popularity can be achieved at a very young age, too. I never hung out with the popular kids but now I hang out with "Mr. Popularity" everyday. Sometimes I get a picture taken with him, but mostly his schedule is very full with "meet and greets", photo ops, and wardrobe fittings. Also, if you throw up on people it doesn't seem to affect your popularity.

Puddin'

What if there were a puddin' tax? What would the tax funds go to? Who would be affected most? I say tax the hell out of it. Puddin' is a luxury item and not a food staple. Not to mention the 7 to 12 percent loss to the face in children and 4 to 7 percent in adults.

Baby check.

Every morning you should do a baby check. Although technically you can check your baby any time if you don't feel that it is not functioning properly. Having an assistant can help.

Blog check

Blog check. Good check. Please remain calm and this will all sort itself out shortly, I am sure.
